Sponsorship Opportunities

Remembering Paul W. Spooner

Help cultivate the next generation of disability leaders by sponsoring the summit.

The innovative model has proven successful and the Generational Leadership Summit is becoming more competitive, more rigorous and popular among participants. The Summit partners are looking to continue this work and remain hopeful that the event continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of participants based on feedback.

The growth of our participant and alumni pool will allow for not only the event personnel’s networks to grow, but also give these passionate and motivated leaders an opportunity to build their own networks and find new opportunities to put the skills they acquire at the Summit to use. As stated, a major goal of the Summit partners is to “pass the torch” to alumni and continue to have them more involved in the planning and execution of the Summit. With this focus on alumni engagement, we will continue to need additional space to accommodate the group as sizing grows.

During 2025, the model was presented at the national level at The Arc’s NCE Summer Leadership Institute. The hope is that some day this model reaches other states or potentially held at the national level, bringing together not just advocates from Massachusetts, but from across the nation.

In 2026, we hope to bring another class together with alumni from previous years to continue this critical work. Funding remains uncertain and the Summit partners recognize that financial partnerships are important to ensuring the success and growth of the event.
